FAQ

Answers to the honest questions.

Which healthcare professionals can use Nomad Med?

Nomad Med is built for the full range of traveling clinicians — travel nurses, respiratory therapists, imaging techs, physical therapists, surgical techs, allied health, and more. If you take contracts and move cities, you belong here.

How does the Hospital Guide work?

Each hospital page is built from traveler-submitted tips and verified reviews. Parking, badge pickup, cafeteria, culture, and ratios — the little things that make day one calm instead of chaotic.

Can I upload my credentials?

Yes. Store licenses, certifications, and required documents in an encrypted vault. Nomad Med reminds you before anything expires and lets you share a one-tap link with recruiters.

Can I track multiple assignments?

Absolutely. Free accounts can manage up to three; Premium is unlimited. Each assignment gets its own workspace with checklists, housing, credentials, and progress.

Is my information secure?

Privacy is a design principle, not a footnote. We collect the minimum required to make the app work, encrypt sensitive data at rest and in transit, and never sell your information. Full details in our privacy policy.

Can I connect with other travelers?

Yes — through hospital groups, city groups, roommate matching, and local meetups. It's a professional community moderated by real travelers, not an algorithmic feed.

Our mission

Nomad Med was built to simplify life for travel healthcare professionals — bringing organization, community, safety, and local knowledge into one calm place.

Every assignment should feel less stressful. Every new city should feel more familiar. We're building the trusted companion every traveling clinician wishes they'd had on their first contract.
